The Michelin CrossClimate 2 is a versatile all-season tire designed to offer exceptional performance in various weather conditions, including dry, wet, and light snow. Building upon the success of its predecessor, the CrossClimate+, this tire incorporates innovative technologies to deliver improved traction, handling, and durability.

It was released in the fall of 2022 and won our Best All-Season Tire for 2023. It is still a front runner in 2024 as one of the best all season tires that you can buy. Where we found the tire to fall down slightly was in wet performance. Whilst the tires have great hydroplaning resistance, in our testing we found the tire performed only averagely in wet braking and wet handling, and it seems we aren’t the only people to discover this.

The tire does have a very low rolling resistance however which makes it exceptionally fuel-efficient.
